ProTaper’s aluminum shifter for the 1987-2007 CR125R replaces that fatigued factory part with a shifter forged from 6061 aluminum, built to handle the same kickstarts and boot impacts without slowly losing its shape. A folding tip design means the lever can flex out of the way during a hard hit rather than transferring that force straight into the shift shaft.
