Some bars get bought once and forgotten; this ProTaper SE high bend gets bought again because the CR bend shape keeps ending up back on the bike after a crash or a bar swap. The CR shape is a mid-rise sweep with a touch of forward cant, which makes it a favorite with riders who like to load the front end hard into ruts and stay aggressive on the attack. Compared to the rest of the SE lineup, it is a bar that sits a notch flatter than the tallest bend in the SE lineup but still gives real standing room, and this particular version adds a high bend on top of that, so the added rise gives standing riders extra room between the seat and the grips without forcing a reach forward.
