Description
The Tanium finish gives this Reed/Windham Fatbar a muted, titanium-look anodizing instead of a bold color, which a lot of riders prefer once they have already got their plastics and graphics dialed and do not want the bar competing for attention. Underneath the finish, the geometry is unchanged from the bend Chad Reed and Kevin Windham both raced.
Measured specifications:
- Overall width: 800mm
- Height: 98mm, Rise: 74mm
- Clamp area width: 100mm
- Sweep: 52mm
- Control length: 187mm
This bend runs a tighter 100mm clamp area than the RC bar’s 150mm spread, paired with a taller 74mm rise, so your hands sit closer together and higher than on the mid-range Renthal shapes, a setup a lot of taller or more aggressive standing riders prefer. Construction is the standard Fatbar 7010-T6 aluminum, with an oversized 1-1/8 in. (28.6 mm) clamp diameter tapering to 7/8 in. (22.2 mm) at the controls for stock lever and grip compatibility, and the Tanium anodizing wears in gracefully instead of showing scuffs the way a gloss color finish sometimes does. IPD Racing has kept Renthal bars in stock since we started building and racing our own machines in 2005, and our team can walk you through how this bend compares to the RC and Enduro options if this is your first time running Reed/Windham geometry.
