The RM shape is a flatter, low-rise profile with quick, direct steering feel, which makes it a favorite with riders who flick the bike through whoops and tight chicanes and do not want extra bar in the way. Compared to the rest of the SE lineup, it is a lower, flatter bend than most of the SE catalog, favored by riders who like the bar out of their line of sight, and this particular version adds a low bend on top of that, so the reduced rise keeps the bar close and low for a tucked-in, compact stance that shorter riders and flat-track converts both ask for.
