This tapered shape does not sacrifice the durability that makes the Dual Compound line worth buying in the first place; the firm base layer and softer surface compound carry over unchanged from the standard-profile version.
This grip mounts with grip glue, not a lock-on clamp, so the install is the same process riders have used for decades: clean the bar, apply cement, slide the grip on, and let it cure before putting any real load through it.
As with the rest of this tapered lineup, expect a glue-on install rather than a cam-lock system, so keep grip cement on hand.
