Description
Named after one of motocross racing’s toughest tracks, the ProTaper Millville Aluminum Bar in a Mid-Low bend brings that track’s demands into the design of the bar itself. Millville’s deep sand ruts and square-edge bumps punish a bar low in the stroke, so this Mid-Low bend keeps riders planted and in control when the whoops get chewed up late in a moto. It is machined from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with a shot-peened surface treatment, which relieves surface stress and pushes fatigue life well past what a standard extruded bar can take.
- Aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum construction for a strong, lightweight bar
- Shot-peened finish relieves surface stress and extends fatigue life under repeated impacts
- 5 mm wall thickness holds up to hard cases and G-outs without collapsing
- Mid-Low bend matched to how Millville is actually ridden, not a generic one-size profile
- Black finish resists scuffing and holds up to grip glue and bar tape
This bar bolts straight into standard 7/8 inch triple clamp mounts, so there is no special hardware to source before you install it. Riders upgrading from a stock steel or basic aluminum bar will notice less vibration reaching their hands over braking bumps, and the added wall thickness means a stiff hard-pack track will not fold this bar the way it might a cheaper one. IPD Racing keeps this part number on the shelf for exactly this kind of mid-season swap.
