That gives a rider a straightforward ladder of rise options without decoding rider-signature names: pick a taller one for standing and off-road work, a lower one to load the front wheel on hard-pack. Alongside the bars sit universal solid mount and rubber mount kits, which change how much vibration reaches the hands. Solid mounts give the most direct steering feedback for racing, while rubber mounts take the buzz out of long rides. There is also a ProTaper steering damper in a low configuration for riders chasing more stability at speed, where headshake in rough straights and sand is the limiting factor rather than outright grip.
