Description
ITP built the Mud Lite XL around one job: pulling a machine through mud that stops smaller-lugged tires cold, and the 25×10-12 size keeps that same deep-tread philosophy front and center. Every Mud Lite XL is a 6-ply rated bias-ply tire, giving it the sidewall strength to handle rock strikes and rut edges without the extra weight of a radial casing.
- Aggressive lug stagger designed to clear packed mud as the tire rotates rather than pack it in
- Made in the USA construction for consistent build quality from batch to batch
- Sized at 25×10-12 for direct fitment on compatible ATV and UTV wheels
- Directional tread layout that channels mud and water away from the contact patch
- Wide contact patch that spreads load across soft ground instead of digging a single rut
- Reinforced sidewall construction built to shrug off rock strikes at low tire pressure
- 1-1/8 inch lug height for maximum mud bite and clean-out
- 6-ply rated bias construction for load durability on rocky and rutted trail
Ground clearance matters as much as traction when the terrain gets nasty, and a taller lug like the one on this tire also lifts the machine’s belly slightly further from the sucking mud below, which keeps drivetrain components cleaner over a long ride. Riders running a Mud Lite XL front to rear typically report noticeably fewer stuck moments in terrain that would otherwise require winching out, and that alone is often worth the tradeoff in on-road ride comfort.
Check your ATV manufacturer’s fitment specs before ordering, then run the 25×10-12 Mud Lite XL as a rear or full-set tire on machines rated for this size and load range.
