The CP Carrillo M9040 forged piston kit is built for Sea Doo RXP and similar 215, 255, and 260 4TEC applications that need a 0.25mm oversize bore and a 9.5 to 1 compression ratio. Using a 100.25mm bore and 63.4mm stroke for about 1501cc of displacement, this kit offers a mix of increased capacity and higher compression for stronger overall performance. It is ideal for performance rebuilds where both overbore and power improvements are desired.
Each M9040 piston is part of the CPK9040 configuration and is matched with rod 5476, 905 2250 19CP3C wrist pin, 905X073 SWL locks, SWF 20064 3 ring set, and H30220305 gasket. The forged design provides significantly more strength than stock cast pistons, with ring lands and crown geometry set up to handle boost, heat, and high rpm. This makes the kit well suited to tuned Sea Doo builds that see real on water abuse.
