Trail and track abuse do not discriminate between front and rear wheels, and the Bridgestone TR4 Tube – 2.50-18 is built to hold up on either end of a spoked-wheel setup. Bridgestone built the TR4 as its do-it-all tube for spoked and multi-piece wheels, using a 3mm natural rubber wall that resists punctures and pinch flats on 2.50-18 fitments without the added cost of a race-spec compound most riders in this category do not need.

Bridgestone tubes are manufactured to a consistent wall thickness and a specified valve stem type, which matters more than most riders realize once a tube has a few seasons of heat cycling and constant flex behind it. A tube that runs thin in spots or drifts off the printed size will wrinkle inside the tire casing, chafe against the rim, and eventually let go at the worst possible time on the trail or track.
