ProTaper – Grips, including 1/2 waffle grips, Pillow Top grips, full diamond and full waffle grips, ATV grips, Pro Series clamp-on grips and grip glue, is the deepest part of the brand's cockpit range, and for good reason: grips are the only part of the bike a rider touches for an entire moto. The selection runs from the standard 1/2 waffle pattern that made the brand famous, through 1/3 waffle and 1/3 micro grips, full diamond and full waffle textures, and the cushioned Pillow Top family including Lite and clamp-on versions. Pro Series clamp-on grips remove the need for wire and glue altogether, while Tri Density and dual density compounds place softer rubber where the palm sits and firmer rubber where the throttle tube needs support. Dedicated ATV grips with large flange and non-flange options cover quad and side-by-side riders, and grip accessories such as grip glue, grip covers and Blister Busters round out an install. Compound choice matters as much as pattern: soft rubber gives maximum feel and vibration damping, medium lasts longer on long trail days, and the right combination reduces arm pump and blistering.
