Wheel studs are easy to forget until one snaps or the threads strip on a trail repair, and on a loaded crew machine that is not a small problem. Studs get stretched by overtightened impact guns, corroded by salt and mud, or galled when a lug nut is run on dirty threads, and once a stud lets go the remaining ones carry uneven load and start to fail in sequence. These kits supply studs and nuts machined to the correct thread pitch, length and knurl diameter for the hub, so they press in straight, hold clamp load and let the lug nuts torque to factory spec without stretching.
