Fork seals are the difference between damping you can trust and a front end that dives unpredictably. Once a seal passes oil, the fork loses level, the bushing drags on a scored tube, and the wiper packs with grit that keeps cutting until you are refilling every few rides. A fresh fork seal kit holds the oil level, keeps dirt out of the slider, and brings back consistent compression and rebound on the same clicker settings you already know. Plan on fresh fork oil too, since what is in a leaking leg is contaminated.
