Born in Amman, Jordan and raised in Boca Raton, Florida, 28-year-old Amanda only recently added jet ski racing to her resume. A practicing attorney who works as corporate counsel for a construction consulting firm based in Hollywood. Florida, she works hard to make time for training and competition, but her passion for the sport is apparent. Having grown up watching F1 Racing with her Dad and later taking to the race track herself in a Mini Cooper, racing is in her blood, and Amanda has learned quickly that racing on water is no small feat. She and her partner and teammate, George Holmquist, have already traveled the country to participate in an ambitious number of events and the pair has even bigger plans for the future. So far, she has focused her efforts on the P1 AquaX race series, where she competes in the 200hp runabout endurance class, and has found early success, taking home the first win of the season in her class at the season opener in Daytona Beach this April.
