The Kawasaki X-2 was originally designed as the first two-person, sit down watercraft. First produced in 1996, this Jet Ski would soon become popular by riders who would ride it standing up. The X-2 shared the same 650cc, 2-stroke, 2 cylinder engine and pump as the JS 650 stand-up. Over the next ten years, the ski would only see small changes, mostly in the form of air intake and carburetion. This popular ski benefits from front sponsons for greatly increased overall stability in the narrow craft, an aftermarket ride plate for more grip and a pump stuffer for a little more speed.
