Description
A shift lever takes more abuse than almost anything else on the YZ450F, YZ250F, and WR250F platform – boot pressure, roost, the occasional crash – and this ProTaper replacement is built to keep shifting crisp for both motocross racers and WR250F trail riders sharing the same lever geometry. It is forged from 6061 aluminum rather than stamped, so the shaft holds its shape instead of bending the first time a footpeg catches it wrong. The tip folds under impact and springs back, and the pivot point is machined to O.E.M. tolerances so the lever bolts straight onto the stock shift shaft without drilling, filing, or spacers.
