It is forged from 6061 aluminum rather than stamped, so the shaft holds its shape instead of bending the first time a footpeg catches it wrong. The tip folds under impact and springs back, and the pivot point is machined to O.E.M. tolerances so the lever bolts straight onto the stock shift shaft without drilling, filing, or spacers.
