Trials riding puts you on the pegs almost the entire time you are moving, and the Trials High bend gives you the extra rise that leverage over technical sections demands. This is a 7/8 inch ProTaper SE handlebar built for trials riders who want maximum leverage and standing room, and this particular unit is finished in a matte black anodized coat that hides scuffs and scratches better than lighter finishes while still looking sharp out of the box.
Strip away the color and what you are buying is a bar built around a few key details:
- Crossbar is bonded to the tube with an aerospace-grade polymer adhesive instead of a weld, so there is no heat-affected zone weakening the metal at the joint.
- 7/8 inch diameter matches stock clamps and most aftermarket clamp kits, so you are not shopping for adapters or oversize hardware.
- Crossbar clamps are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum, not stamped, which keeps tolerances tight where the pad and clamp meet the tube.
- Tube is high-strength aerospace aluminum alloy rated at 70,000 psi, so it takes hard impacts and G-outs without folding or denting like a lower-grade bar.
That added height gives you the leverage to muscle the front end over rocks, logs and ledges without hunching down into the bar. Run it as a direct replacement for a bent or cracked stock bar, or as an upgrade if you are still on the OEM tube and want something stiffer under load.
