ProTaper SE SX Race Handlebar – Platinum: 7/8 Inch Bar for Powersports
The SX Race bend is shaped for riders who spend most of their time standing and attacking rhythm sections, with a profile that favors an aggressive forward stance over the front wheel. This is a 7/8 inch ProTaper SE handlebar built for supercross and stadium-style racers, and this particular unit is finished in a platinum anodized coat with a slightly warmer, more metallic look than straight silver.
Under the finish, the engineering is the same across the SE line:
- 7/8 inch diameter matches stock clamps and most aftermarket clamp kits, so you are not shopping for adapters or oversize hardware.
- Works with standard 7/8 inch grips, throttle tubes and clamp-on accessories without needing bar-specific hardware.
- Crossbar is bonded to the tube with an aerospace-grade polymer adhesive instead of a weld, so there is no heat-affected zone weakening the metal at the joint.
- Consistent wall thickness along the tube helps the bar flex predictably under load instead of developing a soft spot near the clamp area.
