ProTaper SE CR Mid Handlebar, Platinum Gray – 7/8 Inch MX and Off-Road Bar
The CR Mid bend was shaped to match the mid-height feel that Honda CR riders already know, so swapping onto a ProTaper bar does not mean relearning your cockpit. This is a 7/8 inch ProTaper SE handlebar built for Honda CR-platform riders who want to stay close to stock geometry, and this particular unit is finished in a platinum gray anodized coat that sits between silver and black, giving you a neutral look that works with almost any plastic kit color.
Under the finish, the engineering is the same across the SE line:
- Crossbar is bonded to the tube with an aerospace-grade polymer adhesive instead of a weld, so there is no heat-affected zone weakening the metal at the joint.
- Anodized finish resists fading and corrosion better than raw or painted aluminum, so it still looks right after a season of dirt and pressure washing.
- Works with standard 7/8 inch grips, throttle tubes and clamp-on accessories without needing bar-specific hardware.
- Crossbar clamps are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum, not stamped, which keeps tolerances tight where the pad and clamp meet the tube.
It is a good pick if your current setup already feels right and you just want a stronger, better-damped bar without changing your riding position.
