Some youth riders need more than a bar swap to get a proper reduced-diameter grip, which is why ProTaper built the KTM 50 Micro Bar Kit as a full conversion rather than a standalone handlebar. It pairs the same abrupt-taper Micro Bar concept with a matching aluminum throttle tube and soft 1/3 Waffle grips, so the entire grip zone is sized correctly for smaller hands instead of just the bar itself. Because the taper still holds a standard 7/8 in. profile through the rest of the bar, your existing mounts, lever controls, and switches carry straight over without modification.
