Description
Closing out the EVO lineup, the SX Race bend is built for supercross and stadium-style motocross where whoops and hard landings happen every lap, not just occasionally. It uses the same unbraced EVO body as the rest of the range, engineered to flex evenly instead of transmitting every hit straight to your grips.
What makes it worth the swap:
- Unbraced design removes the crossbar so the whole bar flexes evenly and soaks up hits instead of bouncing energy back at your hands
- 7000 series aluminum alloy with a computer-profiled 4 mm wall shaves weight while independent lab fatigue testing shows it outlasting braced competitor bars
- Rated up to 25 percent lighter and 45 percent stronger than comparable braced handlebars from other brands
- Consistent wall thickness from bend to bend keeps flex predictable instead of stiff in some spots and floppy in others
- Anodized or powder-coated finish (per colorway) resists scuffing from boots, levers, and crash damage
If you are still riding a stock braced bar and racing supercross-style tracks regularly, this is the upgrade most riders notice within the first few laps.
Because the EVO body is unbraced, standard oversized bar pads and most clamp-on accessories still mount up fine, you are only changing how the bar itself flexes, not the mounting footprint.
Fitment: Handlebar – EVO SX Race Black. Part number 022024, sold by IPD Racing.
