ProTaper names a lot of its bends after the riders who helped shape them, and the Henry/Reed ACF Handlebar in Black is one of those dual-rider bends built for racers who want a specific blend of sweep and rise rather than a generic middle-ground shape. It runs the same unidirectional carbon fiber core as the rest of the ACF line, which lets the aluminum tube shed wall thickness in high-stress zones while actually gaining fatigue resistance compared to an all-aluminum bar of the same weight. That combination of less material and more strength is the whole point of building carbon into a handlebar in the first place.
