The 27×10-12 ITP Mud Lite XL takes the brand’s mud-focused tread design and scales it to a tire that still tracks predictably on hardpack between the wet sections. Every Mud Lite XL is a 6-ply rated bias-ply tire, giving it the sidewall strength to handle rock strikes and rut edges without the extra weight of a radial casing.

Ground clearance matters as much as traction when the terrain gets nasty, and a taller lug like the one on this tire also lifts the machine’s belly slightly further from the sucking mud below, which keeps drivetrain components cleaner over a long ride.
