Description
ProTaper’s SE bar was built to answer a simple complaint from mini racers: stock 7/8 inch handlebars flex more than riders want when they push hard into a berm or land a jump off-line. The SE, short for Seven Eighths, uses a high-strength aerospace aluminum alloy rated at 70,000 psi so the tubing stays stiff and predictable rather than wallowing under load. This Jet Black version is shaped to match Honda mini bike mounting and bend geometry, so it swaps onto the stock triple clamp without hunting for adapters.
Features and Benefits
- Aerospace aluminum alloy rated at 70,000 psi for a stiffer, more predictable feel than mild steel bars
- Crossbar clamps CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and bonded with aerospace-grade polymer for a secure, rattle-free brace bar mount
- Bend and mounting width matched to Honda mini machines for a straightforward, direct-fit swap
- Jet Black finish holds up to pit grime and sunlight better than paint
- Rewards riders who like solid, direct feedback through the bars rather than a soft, forgiving flex
Because the SE Honda Mini bar ships with Honda mount spacing and bend already dialed in, most riders can pull the stock bar, drop this one in, and be back on the bike the same afternoon. IPD Racing carries the full SE lineup because these bars are a common upgrade path once a young racer starts pushing the limits of a stock setup, and we can help confirm fit before you order if your bike has been modified.
