The SX Race bend is shaped for riders who spend most of their time standing and attacking rhythm sections, with a profile that favors an aggressive forward stance over the front wheel. This is a 7/8 inch ProTaper SE handlebar built for supercross and stadium-style racers, and this particular unit is finished in a deep red anodized coat that matches red-accented graphics kits and number plates without looking mismatched next to OEM red plastics.
The SE series earns its reputation on a short list of real construction details:
- 7/8 inch diameter matches stock clamps and most aftermarket clamp kits, so you are not shopping for adapters or oversize hardware.
- Crossbar is bonded to the tube with an aerospace-grade polymer adhesive instead of a weld, so there is no heat-affected zone weakening the metal at the joint.
- Crossbar clamps are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum, not stamped, which keeps tolerances tight where the pad and clamp meet the tube.
- Bend geometry is measured and repeatable, so a replacement bar in the same part number sits exactly where your old one did.
